road trip wear

road_wear_1When it comes to road trips nothing is more important than comfort.  For years I have searched for the perfect look that would leave me feeling at ease in the car yet presentable during pit stops.  Enter Forever’s scuba pants (or knit pants).  Think a cross between a thick legging, wet suit and spanx.  Sounds absolutely wretched but I promise you they will change your life.  The elastic waist provides that great “belly is tucked in” feel.  You can also be in any bizarre traveling position for hours and arrive at your destination without one wrinkle. Pair with layers and flats for a relaxing yet put together look (And don’t forget your clutch for bathroom breaks.).

  1. I think I need to find these scuba pants! I’ve been hooked on Uniqlo’s “leggings pants” for a while now. they feel like leggings, look more like black jeans, and are never EVER see-through! plus they are only $19.90, and they are usually on sale in the store for $14.90 or less. a comfy maxi dress is another solid road trip option. we did 8 drives from NJ to Ohio this summer alone, so I feel like a pro at this stuff by now 😉
