lovely leather

shorts_7When deciding whether or not to invest in a piece, especially a trendy one, I follow a 3-way rule.  If I can quickly configure 3 different ways to wear, it’s coming home with me.  Leather, known as faux leather for my budget, is definitely a current must have and honestly I do not know why we do not wear it all the time.  My recent faux leather shorts purchase has not only risen above my 3-way rule but they are as comfortable as denim with a lot more va-va-voom.  Going weekend casual chic or from work to cocktails with the girls could not be easier.shorts1 Forever 21 double-zip shorts (I’m wearing) | 2 Topshop side zip shorts | 3 Topshop shorts | 4 Free People vegan leather shorts6ways|WEARING| Forever 21 double-zip shorts/tights similar | 1 H&M relaxed sweater/olive bootie similar | 2 cropped jean jacket similar/stripe top similar/navy hat similar/Target flats | 3 colorblock tunic sweater similar/side zip bootie similar | 4 light pink blazer similar/H&M button up/Guess heels | 5 black tuxedo blazer similar/gold sequin top similar/black and gold circle bracelet similar/ZiGiny pewter pump | 6 silk top similar/cutout booties similar

If shorts are not your cup of tea then you must give leather pants a try.  There are some fantastic options out there with the same versatility if not more than their shorter counterpart.  Your stack of jeans are begging for a new friend anyway…leatherpants1 ASOS skinny pant with panels | 2 Free People vegan leather seemed pants | 3 Forever 21 zippered faux leather | 4 Tripp NYC pleather pant

Love your new blog! You should do a photo shoot in CAbi clothes. They are trendy, chic and would look awesome on you. Check them out at Plus, they are available in VW (for your hometown fans) from Teresa Schalois.

I just bought a pair of leather (fake leather…lol) shorts and I love them! Just have to find the rihgt pair of tights to put under them, I think mine are too dark. Thanks for this post, Brandy!
