After learning of Locke’s condition we were of course hopeful but cautious nonetheless. There were no promises we would get to meet him alive, let alone take all the pictures we so badly wanted. Yet last Saturday, with the sounds of college football streaming in the background, we made a memory and caught a moment of our boys. Sticky, Bingham, Josh and Locke – our hearts are so full of nothing but love.
There are still no promises for tomorrow, but if Locke has taught us anything it is to savor today.
